Excellent Canine Exercise was established in 2008, and its core mission is to give dogs the exercise they need to have the life they deserve -- one full of health and happiness.
I am Kim Dobson, the owner and chief dog walker at Excellent Canine Exercise. I grew up with a Belgian Shepherd and my first dog after I got married was a Gordon Setter; both dogs illustrated the crucial role exercise plays in a dog's life. Over the years, my husband and I (and our two kids) raised two German Shepherd puppies for The Seeing Eye. O'Dwyer was matched with a blind person, while Clark returned to us as a pet. In January 2010, Token the Belgian Tervuren joined our house. Together, we've earned a number of obedience titles, and he has proved how effective balanced training can be. The following year, Beckett the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel joined my parents', and by extension my, household and introduced me to the joys of a smaller dog. Happy to hike with the shepherds, he was also happy to lounge on the couch and snore like a professional. Clark passed away in 2016, and in late 2017, Token's nephew Saga joined the family. Beckett proved to be a terrific puppy raiser, and the three boys were a wonderful team until Beckett passed in May 2020. I'm looking forward to getting into the obedience ring with Saga -- he's a very willing worker and a happy boy when challenged.
